Your kids probably will never hang things up the way you want, so it might be time to let go a little! There is hope and there are secrets to tricking kids into being tidy.

• Give each kid their own little space for things
• Use hooks versus hangars
• Ensure hooks are low enough that they can reach them
• Stagger rows of hooks to allow multiple jackets and knapsacks
• Shoe storage should be within reach of any bench or location where shoes are removed – under the bench is the most common
• Make sure you have enough shoe shelves when we count, we often find a family of 4 will have as many as 100 pairs of shoes including boots, soccer cleats, flip flops, dress shoes etc..
