As a family-owned and operated company, our focus is on being responsive, quality-driven and service-oriented. This means we need to have a dynamic, progressive franchisee business model in place – one that provides programs, systems and tools that let franchisees enter the market with confidence and expertise.

The Benefits

We’ve set up our franchisee program so that it benefits those who will be using it the most – our franchisees. Why? Because over the years, we’ve found that in order for a program to be truly adopted, it has to be simple, effective, easy to understand and implement. More importantly, it has to be affordable while still delivering tangible benefits.

“What makes us unique is that we’re both the franchise and the factory. We’re not just the franchise system; we’re actually providing the product. So there’s no need for the franchisee to go out and find their own supply chain.”

Wolf Nickel, Owner

Currently, we have more than 15 franchisees located throughout Western Canada. All of them enjoy strong business and operational support through our franchisee network. Ongoing professional development is offered via continuing leadership education, which is available through our own Continuous Learning Program.

“You’ve got support in all areas including business set up, structure, management mentorship as well as sales and design. As a business owner, it’s a huge advantage to have access to such valuable resources.”

Yvonne Barker, Franchise Owner, NW Alberta

The Profile

Think you’d be a good fit as a STOR-X franchisee? There are a few things to keep in mind when considering your answer(s) to this question. It’s important that you consider all aspects and take into account how it will affect your life.

Do you like the idea of being your own boss? Do you understand the role? Consider the timing. Would owning a business be the right thing for you, and your family, right now? Are you outgoing and personable, with strong community connections? Does this align with the personal and professional goals that you’ve set for yourself?

This is also a good time to take a few minutes to honestly assess your potential suitability. (If you’re having trouble with this, connect with a friend or co-worker who could provide some unbiased insight for you.)

“Reach out to people in your network, especially those who run their own business. Talk to them to get a sense of what it’s like and what to expect to see if this would be a good fit for you.”

Horace Tung, Franchise Owner, Langley/Maple Ridge/NW Van
